Cane Island Unit 4
Cane Island Unit 4 reached a major project milestone last Friday when FMPA issued the Substantial Completion Certificate. This means Zachry Industrial has fulfilled the obligations, conditions and requirements of the engineering, procurement and construction contract. Contact: David Schumann

Member City Visits
Bud Boudreaux travels to Bushnell on Tuesday to meet with Vince Ruano and Mayor Bil Spaude. He will also travel to Leesburg on Friday to meet with Electric Director Paul Kalv and Mayor Bill Polk.

 

ARP Quarterly Conservation Program Report

All-Requirements Project members are reminded to submit their quarterly report documenting conservation efforts between April 1 and June 30. Report data is used to calculate reimbursement totals for members and estimate energy savings of the Conservation Program. Reports are due this Friday. Contact: Sharon Smeenk

 



FMPA Logo Apparel Orders

FMPA logo apparel orders from members and staff are due this Friday. The online catalog, located on the Member Portal, features an updated selection with new polos, ladies’ cardigans and more. FMPA will pay the cost of embroidering FMPA’s logo on two items per person per fiscal year. Participants are responsible for paying the cost of purchasing each apparel item. Contact: Sara Barron

2011 FMEA-FMPA Annual Conference

The 2011 FMEA-FMPA Annual Conference will be held July 19-21 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla. On July 19, the conference kicks off with two pre-conference seminars: 1) electric utility 101, and 2) crisis communications. The following days feature general sessions and breakout sessions on a variety of topics, including energy legislation, electric vehicles and customer energy consumption behavior.
