Return to Office Plan Phase 2
FMPA began Phase 2 of its three-phase approach last Monday. Most employees returned to the office except for team members who are at a higher risk or have special circumstances. Employees in the office continue to practice social distancing guidelines and have access to personal protective equipment. The remainder of the team will return to the office after Memorial Day. With in-state travel restrictions being lifted, employees started scheduling visits to member cities while following health and safety precautions. Additionally, several members plan to attend this week’s meetings at FMPA’s Orlando office, while following social distancing protocols. Personal protective equipment will be available for all attendees. The meetings will still be offered via teleconference to all members. FMPA’s Leadership team continues to monitor the situation and will keep members and employees updated.

ARP Telephonic Rate Workshop
The ARP Executive Committee held a rate workshop last Tuesday to review the April All-Requirements Project loads, costs and rates. ARP rates for April benefitted from monthly gas costs that were 42% below budget. The April average billed demand and energy cost to participants was $65.66 per MWh, which was the lowest billed cost for the month of April since 2015.  The full agenda package is available on the Portal.
