Finance Committee
FMPA’s Finance Committee meets Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Board room. The committee will consider one action item to review and approve the All-Requirements Project fiscal 2022 budget, and fiscal 2023 plan. Distribution Reliability Roundtable
Registration for the Distribution Reliability Roundtable taking place on June 17 ends June 10. The roundtable provides a forum for participants to discuss distribution reliability related topics including the FMPA reliability reporting process and program definitions and interpretations. A teleconference option is available. Seating is limited to accommodate for social distancing guidelines. Contact: Cairo Vanegas

 Safety Compliance Workshop
The next class in FMPA’s Safety Compliance for Electric Utilities Distance Learning Series is June 18 at 1 p.m. via teleconference. This session will define qualification requirements to perform work on or near electric power facilities. Registration is available on FMPA’s website. Contact: Sharon Samuels

Florida Breakfast at APPA National Conference
The American Public Power Association’s (APPA) National Conference is June 20-23 in Orlando. FMPA will host a breakfast on June 22 at 7:30 a.m. for Florida attendees. A calendar invite from Ryan Dumas was emailed to representatives from Florida public power who are registered for the conference. Attendees are encouraged to respond to the invitation, so the appropriate number of meals can be ordered.

Foreman Academy Certification Series
The deadline to register for the second track of the three-part Foreman Academy Certification series is Thursday. First time attendees who have not already completed the first track are also invited to register for the training.  The second track in the series is on June 21 – 24. The Foreman Academy Certification provides crew leaders and general foremen with the knowledge and tools to lead crews efficiently, responsibly, and safely. Contact: Sharon Samuels

Florida Municipal Solar Project Site Tour
FMPA will host a tour of the Harmony Solar Energy Center on June 23 at 9 a.m. to commemorate the one-year anniversary of commercial operation for the first two solar sites in the Florida Municipal Solar Project. The event will include a short program and a tour of the approximately 400-acre solar site. The tour is an opportunity for participants in the Harmony and Taylor Creek facilities to celebrate receiving solar energy and for participants in the Poinsett and Phase II facilities to see what to expect when the other solar farms come online in 2023. Invitations with a link to RSVP were emailed last Wednesday by Ryan Dumas.
