Phase 1 Load Management Meetings
FMPA’s Member Services team has reached out to All Requirements Project (ARP) members to schedule Phase 1 Load Management meetings, in response to the ARP Demand Workshop held in April. Many of the members have responded with great interest. At these meetings, members will explore opportunities that will help identify potential resources within their control that can be utilized to support future ARP needs. Contact: Mike McCleary
ARP Telephone Rate Workshop

Distribution Reliability Roundtable
FMPA will host a Distribution Reliability Roundtable on Thursday at 10 a.m. at FMPA’s Orlando Office. The roundtable provides a forum for registered participants to discuss distribution reliability related topics including the FMPA reliability reporting process and program definitions and interpretations. A teleconference option is available. Seating is limited to accommodate for social distancing guidelines. Contact: Cairo Vanegas
Safety Compliance Workshop
FMPA will host the third session of the Safety Compliance for Electric Utilities Distance Learning Series on Friday at 1 p.m. via teleconference. The session will define qualification requirements to perform work on or near electric power facilities. Contact: Sharon Samuels
Florida Breakfast at APPA National Conference
FMPA will host a breakfast on June 22 at 7:30 a.m. for Florida attendees of the American Public Power Association’s (APPA) National Conference, taking place June 20-23 in Orlando. A calendar invite from Ryan Dumas was emailed to representatives from Florida public power who are registered for the conference. Attendees are encouraged to respond to the invitation, so the appropriate number of meals can be ordered.
