2022 All Requirements Project Load Forecast
FMPA is working on the 2022 All-Requirements Project (ARP) load forecast, which predicts future peak and energy loads for ARP member cities. FMPA prepares the load forecast to ensure members have adequate energy resources and to support FMPA’s annual budget process. Drafts were emailed to ARP participants, and the final forecast is expected to be complete in January. FMPA welcomes member feedback. ARP participants should contact Robert Nelcoski to discuss forecast results.

St. Lucie Project
St. Lucie Project participants meet Monday at 11 a.m. via Teams to discuss potential modifications to the step-up provisions in the contract.

KUA Board of Directors Presentation
Jacob Williams is attending the Kissimmee Utility Authority Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday and will present on recent energy price increases and the impacts for customers.

Substation Roundtable
Beaches Energy Services hosts a Substation Roundtable on Thursday and Friday at the Jacksonville Beach City Council Chamber. The roundtable is an opportunity for participants to discuss a variety of substation, relay and compliance topics. Members interested in attending the free event should contact Matt Campbell at Beaches or Alan O’Heron at FMPA.

Safety Compliance Workshop
The deadline to register for the last class in FMPA’s Safety Compliance for Electric Utilities Distance Learning Series is Dec. 15. The seventh session in the series will be held Dec. 17 via teleconference. The session will highlight requirements for de-energizing lines and equipment for employee protection.
