FMPA Weekly to Take Break During Holidays
FMPA Weekly will not be published during the week of Dec. 27, in observance of the holiday season. The next issue will be emailed on Jan. 3.
ARP Telephonic Rate Workshop
The Executive Committee held a workshop last Tuesday to review All-Requirements Project loads, costs and rates for November. The average billed demand and energy cost for November was $89.99 per megawatt hour. Energy sales to participants were 4.5% below budget, due to mild weather; however, external sales were 56% above budget and helped mitigate impacts. While gas prices have declined over the past few weeks, the average gas cost in November was 62% above budget. The full agenda package is available on the Portal.
Stanton Unit II Refinancing
FMPA’s Finance Department issued a request for proposals last Wednesday for the refinancing of Stanton Unit II Series 2012 bonds. Proposals are due by Jan. 19. FMPA staff will provide their recommendations for the best alternative during the Board of Directors meeting on Feb. 17. Contact: Rich Popp
Holiday Office Closures
FMPA’s offices will be closed on Friday in observance of the Christmas holiday and on Dec. 31 in observance of the New Year’s holiday. Best wishes to all for a safe and happy holiday season.
