FMPA Continuing Disclosure Report
FMPA filed its annual financial disclosure report last Tuesday. The report includes information on FMPA’s power supply projects, financial statements and other disclosure topics. The document is available on the Electronic Municipal Market Access (EMMA) website. EMMA is a platform that provides municipal securities data and disclosure documents for investors, state and local governments. Asset Management Solution RFP
FMPA issued a request for proposals last Wednesday on behalf of three members for cloud-based asset management services with a dashboard to track assets at their respective utility. Responses are due July 28 at 1 p.m. Contact: Sharon Samuels

 

General Fund Transfer Survey
FMPA’s annul General Fund Transfer Survey is now open. Sue Utley emailed a link to this year’s survey last Thursday. The survey includes eight questions and collects data on retail sales, total operating electric revenues and electric fund transfers. The deadline for responses in July 22. Results will be used to show the value of municipal electric utilities and the benefits that these transfers provide. Contact: Ryan Dumas

 

Special-Called Executive Committee Meeting
The ARP Executive Committee meets on Thursday at 2 p.m. via Microsoft Teams for a special-called meeting to discuss increasing the margin call limit of $25 million, based on recent changes in the natural gas market. The agenda package will be posted to the Portal prior to the meeting. Contact: Jacob Williams

 

Foreman Academy Certification Series
Participants can register for the second track of the three-part Foreman Academy Certification series, scheduled for Aug. 22-25. First time attendees who have not completed the first track are also invited to register for the training. The Foreman Academy Certification provides crew leaders and general foremen with the knowledge and tools to lead crews efficiently, responsibly and safely. The deadline to register is August 10. SEMA Short Course and Conference
Registration is now open for the Southeastern Electricity Metering Association’s annual Short Course and Conference on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in Kissimmee. The event is designed for participants to learn the advanced offerings of electric metering technology, with tracks in fundamentals of metering, advanced metering, emerging technologies and meter programming. Members with questions about the event should contact Michael Foote with the Orlando Utilities Commission.
