Spring/Summer Energy Sale to TECO
Beginning today, Tampa Electric (TECO) will purchase energy from FMPA during the peak hours of each day for the months of April, May, July, and August. The sale will allow the Agency to optimize its use of generation resources, including the newly acquired Sand Lake Energy Center, to reduce costs for All-Requirements Power Supply Project (ARP) participants. Fundamental Supervisory Skills Training
Registration closes tomorrow for the fundamental supervisory skills training that FMPA will host next Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This Tennessee Valley Public Power Association (TVPPA) training is part of the series of courses required to complete the Certified Power Supervisor (CPSv) certification, but interested parties can complete it as a standalone course. Goal Setting and Planning Training
Registration closes Thursday for the goal setting and planning training that FMPA will host next Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This TVPPA training is part of the series of courses required to complete the CPSv certification, but interested parties can complete it as a standalone course. 2024 Substation Training Series – Substation Transformer Basics and Controls
The substation transformer basics and controls training scheduled as part of the 2024 substation training series has been postponed due to low registration. The training, which was scheduled for April 30 and May 1 at OUC, will be rescheduled for the fall.
