FMPA Office Closure
FMPA offices will close Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day. Offices will reopen Monday, July 8.
Foreman Academy Certification
FMPA recently set the Foreman Academy training dates for 2025 that the Agency will host at its office. Track 1 will be April 8 to 11, Track 2 will be September 29 to October 2, and Track 3 will be June 23 to 26. Dates may be subject to change, and registration information is coming soon. Level 2 Alert on 6GHz Communication Penetration in the Electric Industry
On April 23, NERC issued a Level 2 Alert to Distribution Providers (DPs), Distribution Provider UFLS-Only (DP-UFLS), Generator Owners (GOs), and Transmission Owners (TOs) on the subject of 6 GHz communication. The alert requires entities to respond to a set of questions about their use of the 6 GHz spectrum. Responses to the questions within the alert are required by Midnight, July 8.
