Aaron Casto Named FRCC CEO
Aaron Casto, who currently serves as executive director of the Florida Municipal Power Pool (FMPP), accepted an offer to become the new CEO of the Florida Reliability Coordinating Council (FRCC), subject to approval from the FRCC board of directors this week. His final day with FMPP will be November 15, and he will begin with FRCC November 18, allowing him to expand his role to serving even more Floridians with access to low-cost, reliable power.
Potential for Nuclear in Florida
The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) hosted a workshop last Thursday to discuss the potential for nuclear power technology in Florida. Jacob Williams participated in the conversation, discussing the importance of diversifying the generation mix in Florida without sacrificing reliability. Read more about the conversation here.

General Fund Transfer Survey Deadline Today
Today is the final day to complete the General Fund Transfer Survey. The annual survey assesses Agency members’ utility fund transfers and demonstrates the value that municipal electric utilities and these transfers provide. Contact: Mary Kathryn Patterson
Intro to Staking/Line Design Training

Lineman Roundtable
FMPA will host a Lineman Roundtable tomorrow at 10 a.m. at FMPA. The forum allows line crews to discuss best practices, common issues, safety, and other relevant topics. Contact: Lindsay Jack
