Bartow Energy Center Acquisition
FMPA is pleased to announce its ownership of its third and final power plant in a major generation resource acquisition. Bartow Energy Center – previously named Orange Cogeneration LP – is a combined cycle cogeneration plant located in Bartow, Florida. The plant was immediately available for dispatch when the Agency took ownership effective midnight on January 1, and it will supply 104 MW for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project members. We’re pleased to welcome the facility and its team to FMPA, and more information about the facility and acquisition here.
