Power Sale to Lake Worth
Effective January 1, Lake Worth entered into an agreement with the All-Requirements Power Supply Project (ARP) under which ARP will supply Lake Worth’s wholesale power needs above its firm resources through December 31, 2032. The agreement provides Lake Worth with a reliable and cost-effective supply solution while allowing ARP to utilize available capacity efficiently, contributing to overall cost stability for project participants.

APPA Joint Action Conference
The American Public Power Association (APPA) Joint Action Conference kicked off yesterday in Destin. Jacob Williams will participate in two panels during the conference, both of which relate to generation planning and power supply concerns.

Certified Power Supervisor Training
Registration closes next week for the first two courses in the Certified Power Supervisor Program. The series kicks off with Bridging the Generation Gap on January 27, then continues with Fundamental Supervisory Skills on January 28 and 29. Courses may be taken in pursuit of this certification or completed as standalone training opportunities. On-Site Training Opportunities

Each offering can occur at your utility, and our team will work with you to ensure the material best applies to your organization.
