ARP Rate Workshop
The ARP Executive Committee held a rate workshop last Tuesday to review the April All-Requirements Project loads, costs and rates. Participant costs for April benefitted from loads that were 2.4% above budget, monthly gas costs that were 5% below budget, and third-party sales that were 18% above budget. Additionally, pursuant to Executive Committee action, the ARP Demand Rate was reduced from $15.78 per kW-month to $15.14/ per kW-month beginning with the April bills and will remain in effect for the remainder of fiscal 2021, which will further help lower costs to members. The April average billed demand and energy cost to participants was $63.51 per MWh. The full agenda package is available on the Portal.
