2024 FMEA and FMPA Human Resources Roundtable
Thursday is the deadline to register for the human resources roundtable co-hosted by FMEA and FMPA next Thursday at 10 a.m. The roundtable provides a forum for public power HR professionals to discuss best practices, policies, procedures, legal considerations and other relevant issues. Foreman Academy Certification – Track 1
Monday is the deadline to register for the Foreman Academy Certification- Track 1 training scheduled for Monday, Jan. 29 through Thursday, Feb. 1. The course, which will be presented by TVPPA trainers, is intended for lineworker personnel. Contact: Lindsay Jack
TAPS Executive Director
The Transmission Access Policy Study Group (TAPS) named Thomas J. Heller as its new executive director, effective Jan. 1. Heller retired as president and CEO of Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) last June after 31 years of service. Prior to his time at MRES, he worked for the Moorhead Public Service Department for 16 years, and he previous served as the chair of the TAPS Executive Committee and on the board of directors for several organizations, including the APPA.
