October All-Requirements Project Rates
The average billed demand and energy cost for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project in October was $69.76/MWh, which was 8% above the budgeted cost. Participant energy sales were 1.6% below budget, primarily due to milder weather. Third party sales were 13% above budget with the new CFTOD sale. Rice Creek Solar Facility has begun testing, and the Solar II surcharge was included in the billings. The agenda package is available via the Portal. Contact: Denise Fuentes
SERC Webinar
SERC is hosting a webinar this Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. called “Grid Reliability for States” on SERC’s Regional Risk Report. This webinar seeks to provide objective and concise information on issues that affect the reliability and resilience of the North American Bulk Power System (BPS). This webinar will also identify key reliability risks within the SERC region of the North American BPS while educating on approaches to the reliability and security of risks in the SERC footprint. The targeted audience for this webinar includes state lawmakers, commissioners and staff, policy makers engaged in state energy regulation, and utility regulatory and government affairs personnel. Town Hall
Member Services Manager Mike McCleary and Jacob Williams will attend a town hall in Fort Meade tomorrow evening. The town hall will focus on system improvements for the utility.
