FGU Annual Meeting
Jacob Williams spoke at the Florida Gas Utility (FGU) 2025 Annual Meeting last Wednesday. He presented during the general session about the importance of natural gas to ensure reliable generation in Florida.
September All-Requirements Project Rates
The average billed demand and energy cost for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project in September was $66/MWh, which was 3% above the budgeted cost. The all-in rate was $2/MWh higher from prior month projections due to lower sales and higher gas prices. Total external sales were 28% below budget with higher margin third-party sales 23% above budget. FY25 costs preliminarily finish below $78/MWh. The Rate Protection Account balance remained at $0.
