Department of Energy Visit
FMPA hosted Department of Energy Deputy Secretary James Danly at Sand Lake Energy Center on Friday morning. Danly toured the facility and met with Jacob Williams and Allen Putnam. The focus of the visit was how FMPA – specifically the All-Requirements Project generation fleet – responded during Winter Storm Fern and the importance of communicating with customers before the cold weather event.
Training Opportunities
FMPA will host the next two courses in the Certified Power Supervisor certification program at its office this week. This includes Making Performance Appraisals Matter on Tuesday and Interpersonal Supervisory Skills I on Wednesday and Thursday. Also, beginning today, FMPA is hosting a Project Management Professional (PMP) Training at FPUA Energy Services Center. Contact: MacKayla Cross
