Whistling Duck Ribbon-Cutting Event
FMPA and Origis Energy cohosted a ribbon-cutting event last Wednesday to celebrate Whistling Duck Solar Facility. Representatives from both organizations, Members of the Florida Municipal Solar Project, and the local Member city of Williston gathered to hear remarks from leaders and tour the facility.
Board of Directors Meeting
The Board of Directors met last Thursday and approved the retirement agreement with OUC regarding Stanton Unit 1. It also heard the quarterly compliance update and the HR update. Based on the HR update, the Board amended the agenda and approved a proposed benefits policy change for employees. The agenda package is available via the Portal. Contact: Jacob Williams
Executive Committee Meeting
The Executive Committee met last Thursday. It approved the quarterly update of the Natural Gas Price Stability Program, Resolution 2026-EC1 to authorize FMPA to entire into ISDA agreements, and the FGU directive for the Black Belt prepaid gas transaction. Project Management Professional Training
FMPA is pleased to offer another series of Project Management Professional (PMP) Training. The upcoming series will be at the Agency’s Orlando office August 3 through 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
