Hurricane Season Begins
Today marks the beginning of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season. NOAA predicts a below-normal season with eight to 14 named storms, three to six of which it expects to become hurricanes. It predicts one to three of these hurricanes to become major hurricanes. Now is the time to finalize preparations for the storm season.

Environmental Air Compliance Training
FMPA will host an Environmental Air Compliance Training tomorrow. The training can be beneficial for a variety of environmental compliance concerns, including discussing how to improve your utility’s reputation as a good steward of the environment, efficiency with permitting, relationships with regulators, and best practices for consistent compliance. Roundtable Registration Deadline
