ARP Telephonic Rate Workshop
The ARP Executive Committee held a rate workshop last Tuesday to review the March All-Requirements Project loads, costs and rates. Participant costs for March benefited from loads that were 2.8% above budget, monthly gas costs that were 14% below budget, and third-party sales that were 53% above budget. The March average billed demand and energy cost to participants was $64.81 per MWh, which was among the lowest billed March demand and energy costs since at least 2005. The full agenda package is available on the Portal.

Demand Management Workshop
The All-Requirements Project (ARP) Executive Committee met last Wednesday for a Demand Management Workshop at FMPA’s Orlando Office. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Executive Committee supported different options to consider for load management. FMPA will reach out to ARP members to identify types of loads and behind the meter generation that might qualify for the proposed program. The implementation process would include two phases: 1) Look for member controlled loads up to 10 megawatts in fiscal 2022 – 2023, 2) Explore member controlled behind the meter generation in fiscal 2024 – 2026. It is proposed that Phase two would require compensation outside of the ARP rate billing. FMPA will follow up with the Executive Committee in the next several months. Contact: Ken Rutter
