Behind the Switch Social Media Campaign
FMPA launched its annual “Behind the Switch” social media campaign last week. The campaign will continue throughout the coming weeks and show how FMPA and its members provide affordable and reliable power. This year’s campaign explores a series of topics including generating and maintaining affordable power and cybersecurity awareness. The videos will be posted on FMPA’s Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter Pages. Contact: Rachel Ilardi
ARP Telephonic Rate Workshop
The ARP Executive Committee held a workshop last Tuesday to review the February All-Requirements Project loads, cost and rates. The average billed demand and energy cost was $92.77 per megawatt hour. Energy sales to participants were 2.5% below budget, and the average cost for natural gas was 58% above budget. The forecasted March settle price is 56% above budget, and forward curve prices for fiscal 2022 are $2.11 per MMBt above budget. The full agenda package is available on the Portal.
Board of Directors
FMPA’s Board of Directors met last Thursday and heard four information items, including: 1) revising guidelines for chargeable member services projects, 2) human resources quarterly report, 3) results of Stanton II Project Series 2022 A bond closing, and 4) quarterly compliance update. ARP Executive Committee

Foreman Academy Certification
The first track of the Foreman Academy Certification series is Monday through Thursday at FMPA’s Orlando office. The training series provides crew leaders and general foremen with the knowledge and tools to lead crews efficiently, responsibly and safely. Contact: Sharon Samuels
Lineman’s Roundtable
Members planning to attend the Lineman’s Roundtable on April 28 in Williston are reminded to register by April 19. The roundtable is open to all levels of utility line crew personnel, as well as utility staff members interested in transmission and distribution topics. The roundtable provides a forum for line crews to exchange ideas on operating practices, safety, training tools, equipment and other common issues. Contact: Sharon Samuels
Distribution Reliability Roundtable
Registration is now open for FMPA’s Distribution Reliability Roundtable on June 29. The roundtable allows participating utilities to discuss distribution reliability-related topics and best practices. Contact: Sharon Samuels
