Board of Directors Meeting
The Board of Directors met last Thursday. The Board approved two action items, which included the FY2025 small projects budget and Agency allocation and updating the paid holiday schedule for FMPA employees. It also heard three information items, which were updates about the Florida Municipal Solar Project, regulatory compliance, and Stanton Energy Center. Based on the Stanton discussion, the Board agreed to host a future joint meeting with the Executive Committee. The agenda package is available via the Portal. Contact: Jacob Williams

Executive Committee Meeting
The Executive Committee met last Thursday. The Committee approved Lynne Tejeda (Keys Energy Services) as the ARP Solar III Participants Advisory Committee chair, the ARP budget for FY2025, and the natural gas price stability price targets for Q4 of FY2024. It also heard an information item about the Florida Municipal Power Pool strategic efforts. The agenda package is available via the Portal. Contact: Jacob Williams

Behind the Switch Campaign
FMPA is continuing its annual Behind the Switch social media campaign today. The next installation in the series highlights Stock Island Generating Facility, particularly the EP2 emergency diesel generator and the benefits it provides to Keys Energy Services and its customers. Meter Tech Roundtable

Communicating Effectively with Utility Customers Training
FMPA is hosting a Communicating Effectively with Utility Customers training today and tomorrow. The course helps participants grow as communicators and emphasizes creating and recognizing the time to create memorable experiences for customers. Contact: Lindsay Jack

Interpersonal Supervisory Skills I Training
FMPA will host an Interpersonal Supervisor Skills I training Wednesday and Thursday. The course includes three modules related to creating objectives, instructing employees, and delegating tasks. Contact: Lindsay Jack

Regional Foreman Roundtables
FMPA recently opened registration for a series of regional foreman roundtables. These roundtables, which are free for Members to attend, provide foremen or crew leaders an opportunity to meet with other Member utilities to discuss common issues and best practices. Roundtables will be July 23 in Quincy, July 24 in Starke, July 25 in Mount Dora, Aug. 6 in Wauchula, and Aug. 8 in Homestead. Contact: Lindsay Jack
