September All-Requirements Project Rates
The average billed demand and energy cost for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project in September was $58.70/MWh, which was 6% below the monthly budgeted cost. This was the third lowest September D&E rate since tracking started. September Participant energy sales were 7% above budget, bringing the total FY 2024 energy Participant energy sales to 2% above budget. Gas generation was 12% above budget, driven by Sand Lake and Mulberry combining to generate more than seven times their budgeted amount. Member Services Advisory Committee Meeting
FMPA’s Member Services Advisory Committee met last Wednesday and approved the CY 2025 meeting schedule. It also heard information items about reliability rewards, the results of the Member satisfaction survey, and GIS and mapping. Policy Makers Liaisons Committee Meeting
The Policy Makers Liaisons Committee met last Wednesday. It heard information items about the Florida Municipal Solar Project, federal legislation, and regional emissions reductions balanced with rate impacts. The agenda package is available via the Portal. Contact: Susan Schumann

Board of Directors Meeting
The Board of Directors met last Thursday and approved the FY2025 goals scorecard and the guidelines for billable services for member services. It also heard information items about the Stanton Energy Center negotiations and support available for the APPA RP3 program. The agenda package is available via the Portal. Contact: Jacob Williams

Executive Committee Meeting
The Executive Committee met last Thursday. It approved the CY 2025 meeting schedule, the revised rate schedule B-1 effective October 1, 2024, and Resolution 2024-EC5 regarding FMPA’s Public Gas Partners Board of Directors appointment. It also heard information items about Section 29 withdrawal payment estimates for 2024, ARP rate/cash change concepts, energy intensive loads and ARP incentive rates, the Stock Island operational overview, and the ISDA agreements for the price risk management program. APPA Legislative Rally
APPA and the Mayflower Hotel have changed their hotel block procedure for the 2025 Legislative Rally Scheduled for February. The Mayflower is now requiring all hotel sub-blocks to be reserved on one card, and you cannot change the payment method until you arrive. FMPA and FMEA have secured a hotel sub-block capped at 40 rooms and are requesting confirmation of inclusion in the hotel block as soon as possible. Interpersonal Supervisory Skills III Training Rescheduled
The Interpersonal Supervisory Skills III training originally scheduled for December will now take place February 18 and 19. The training was rescheduled to accommodate the Interpersonal Supervisory Skills II training postponed by Hurricane Milton. Contact: Lindsay Jack

Joining the list provides access to monthly updates and reminders about upcoming training opportunities, helping educate Members and their teams about potential development opportunities. FMPA Cybersecurity Event
FMPA’s IT department is planning a cybersecurity event on October 28 from 11:30 to 2 p.m. for FMPA staff members. Agent Crenshaw from the FBI Cyber Team will speak. The event can be broadcast live for other interested Member cities. Members who would like to participate in watching the event can email Wayne Koback.
