Bond Transaction
Last Thursday, FMPA closed on the sale of $138,440,000 in municipal bonds for its All-Requirements Project (ARP) to finance costs associated with the acquisition of three generating facilities and to refinance existing project debt. The sale netted nearly $4.3 million in gross savings. Contact: Rich Popp
July All-Requirements Project Rate
The average billed demand and energy cost for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project in July was $70/MWh, approximately 9% above budget. The all-in rate increased by $5/MWh compared to prior month projections driven by increases in gas basis and dispatch costs, resulting in increased coal generation and Pool purchases. Roundtable Registration Deadline
Registration closes Thursday for the GIS Roundtable scheduled for next Wednesday at 10 a.m. at FMPA. The roundtable provides an informal forum for GIS staff from member utilities to exchange information, share best practices, and network with their peers from member utilities across the state.
