FMPA Video Wins Local ADDY Award
FMPA’s video titled “70-60-50: Together We Can” recently won an award in the American Advertising Federation’s local ADDY Awards. The awards recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising. In the category Film, Video & Sound, FMPA received a Silver ADDY. The video features retail customers from FMPA member cities, who discuss the importance of affordable and reliable power and the impacts when we don’t meet their expectations. The film was directed, filmed and edited by Aqueous Films and Oxenfree Design and motion, both local video companies.
ARP Telephonic Rate Workshop
The Executive Committee meets on Tuesday at 2 p.m. via conference call to review the February All-Requirements Project loads, costs and rates. The full agenda package will be posted to the Portal prior to the meeting. Contact: Jason Wolfe
Board of Directors
FMPA’s Board of Directors meets Thursday at 9 a.m. at FMPA’s Orlando office. The Board will hear four information items, including: 1) revising guidelines for chargeable Member Services projects, 2) human resources quarterly report, 3) results of Stanton II Project Series 2022 A bond closing, and 4) quarterly compliance update. ARP Executive Committee
The ARP Executive Committee meets Thursday at 9:15 a.m., or immediately following the Board of Directors meeting. AMI Roundtable
FMPA will host an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Roundtable on April 14 at 10 a.m. at FMPA’s Orlando office. The roundtable provides an opportunity for members to discuss topics such as AMI technology, equipment, training and more. A teleconference option will be available for those unable to attend in person. The deadline to register is April 7. Contact: Cairo Vanegas
Purchasing Roundtable
Registration for FMPA’s Purchasing Roundtable is now open. The roundtable takes place on May 12 at 10 a.m. at FMPA’s Orlando office. The roundtable provides a forum for members to discuss purchasing work procedures, policies and practices, industry changes and more. The deadline to register is May 2. Contact: Sharon Samuels
