July All-Requirements Project Rates
The average billed demand and energy cost for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project in July was $61.65/MWh, which was 14% below the budgeted cost and was the third lowest July rate. Participant energy sales were 8% above budget and were the highest July loads since 2010, which included Lake Worth and Vero loads. $8M in margin calls in July due to falling gas curve reduced days cash at month-end to ~49 days, resulting in increase of $2/MWh higher from prior months projection to an all-in rate of $70/MWh. The agenda package from the ARP Rate Workshop is available on the Portal.
