March All-Requirements Project Rates
The average billed demand and energy cost for FMPA’s All-Requirements Project in March was $81.29/MWh, which was 9.5% above the budgeted cost. The all-in rate was $7/MWh higher than prior month projections due to below budget loads of 5%, higher gas prices, and lower cash than forecasted. The FY25 forward curve was up 6% from the prior month, resulting in margins on the ARP’s gas positions being returned to FMPA. The Rate Protection Account balance as of March 31was approximately $17.4M. The agenda package from the ARP Rate Workshop is available on the Portal. Contact: Denise Fuentes
